Can't be helped it seems. > Sam Ewalt I run MS-DOS 6.22 with UMBPCI.SYS for XMS for Arachne (619K free conventional memory) I also run MS-DOS 7.1 (aka Windows 98 full DOS mode) with- QEMM (EMS 629K free or XMS 629K free) or 386MAX (EMS 627K free or XMS 627K free) or NetRoom (EMS 624K free or XMS 624K free) or EMM386 (EMS 623K free or XMS 623K free) or UMBPCI.SYS (XMS 628K free) or Memory Commander (EMS 594K to 715K depending upon video requirements) *all* with CD-ROM, mouse, sound, VESA refresh etc loaded in upper memory. These all run from single-clicks off my Start Menu (even the reboots to DOS 6.22 or Windows 3.11 using BootItNG). I reckon it's the most complete collection of fully configured DOS memory environments on Earth. Completely pointless of course since any one of these would have done the job, except I enjoyed setting it all up! When I came from the memory managers were *the* big thing. Does this make me a DOS diehard too? <VBG> I'm more "strange" than any of ya! :-b Merry Christmas Matt
