4.00.1111 is the same version I have.

And the problem is not with "@"

The "@" symbol is simply part of the 2nd command line argument
which is being sent to wwwman.exe
(Dos itself does not try to do anything with the "@" other than pass
it along to wwwman.exe)

Proof of this assumption is in the fact that the command line shown below
does in-fact begin to write the output from wwwman.exe
And that the resulting output does in-fact contain the correct data for
both of my diskette drives.

The error ocures as soon as wwwman.exe attempts to read the drive type
information for the first HDD partition.

OK, here are the results of the tests.

wwwman -l file:@:*.*>\temp\yourpc.htm

1st 5 tries... locked-up tight as a drum. :(

Several more times it crashed the system and caused
a spontaneous "cold reboot". (the system rebooted on its own without
the pressing of the reset button)

wwwman -l file:@:*.* \temp\yourpc.htm
(no > for redirect, and of coarse \temp\yourpc.htm is ignored because
wwwman.exe only accepts 2 command line arguments)

Same as above.. several lock-ups, several cold reboots

Once, and only once I was able to get this....

<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Accessible drives
</TITLE></HEAD><BODY ARACHNE NORESIZE>

Divide Error

There we have it.

Just as soon as wwwman tried to analyze what type of drive C: might be.
A Divide Error ocured. :(((

As several others have confirmed. When we are inside of W9x there are
different APIs which are loaded to do the drivetype assignments.

The attached GIF is a screencap of wwwman run in a DosBox inside of W95.

Would be OK with you if I forward this to the list ?
