Indeed, this is not so controversial for americans... but very
controversial to NON-americans.
I could do something totaly legal for Dutch law... but could be arrested
entering the US for doing something totaly legal in my own country.

A Russian computer expert was arrested entering the US. He was invited
to do some lecturing in the US.

A Brittish scientist refused to come to the US...

What do these kind of laws to the scientific community or the tourist
bussiness?

*** There are countries where abortion is legal, China, Holland, UK,
etc.

*** There are countries where the possesion of a smal amount of cannabis
is legal. America's War on Drugs is still going on, all over the globe.
The War on Alcohol did bring in the mob (maffia) and much violence...
and was lost. Is there any difference to the War on Drugs?

A new war has been launched: the War on Terrorism... what will this war
bring to the US and the world? I do not know what this will bring in the
end... if there will be an end.
First signs: bad to democracy and bad to human rights. The US
Constitution is at stake... just to catch Bin Laden.

A new war has been launched: the War against Iraq.
What has this to do with terrorism? Why does the US not proof that Sadam
has weapons of mass destruction if they are sure those are in Iraq?
What if the inspectors finally find those weapons and destroy them?
Will the US than call off the War against Iraq?
Did Sadam threaten the US or will he ever be able to invade the US... NO!

if we should arrest G.W. if he visits Europe for facilitating capital
punishment?

Sad, but true. The media cann't be trusted, especialy if a war is going
on.
