Hi again Ron, I hope I'm letting you know in time, that it's no longer necessary to try to find the best manual size reduction method. I just tried out EasyThumb. Unfortunately it requires Windoze, but its results are great. It's freeware from Fooke's Software in Switserland. Thanks again for everyone's help.
