Clarence,

It's likely that most of the people who want off the list aren't
paying much attention to the list. I doubt that they trouble
themselves to read through the messages.

I think canceling the list altogether and then starting fresh
with people resubscribing would work better.

Plus it would purge dead addresses as well.
