According to many pages that turn up on a google search on the subject, you can do that by email. I haven't studied the info about the email option yet, so I don't know how this is done by email. I send SMS messages by accessing a web page owned and operated by my cell phone service provider. "http://message.mycingular.com/wash/sms_send.cgi?city=WAS" Cingular Send Message It works with Arachne. I just enter the cell phone number of the addressee on the web form and I type the message I want to send and then I press the "SEND" button. Usually after just a few seconds after sending, an instant text message appears on the display of the recipient's cell phone and the recipient hears a beeping sound on his cell phone to alert him to the fact that he has just received an instant text message. Anyone may use the messaging service provided by the web site named above to send an SMS message to anyone in my area whose cell phone service is provided by the Cingular Wireless system. Other cell phone service providers operate similar web sites for SMS messaging. Sam Heywood -- This mail was written by user of The Arachne Browser: http://browser.arachne.cz/
