  Oh, yeah, one other device.  Well it's really just another 
implementation of one I've already covered.  They'll 
sometimes send an e-mail that appears to have no graphics, 
but has a little <img src ="http://xxx.com/1.gif?xXyus";>
  The gif is simply a 1x1 pixel that's transparent.  

  Third party ad trackers use this on their clients' web 
pages too... usually along a more recognizable format of 
<img src="http://xxx.com/1x1.gif?clientsite.com";>

  Hitbox (or is it bizrate) advertises that they do this in 
e-mail they send out.
