  Here it would have been $7 ($6 for the initial page, $1 
per each additional page), after a some-teen mile drive to 
the nearest "office store." 
  
  In your shoes, I'd probably do it your way, except 
skipping the coffee and cookie.

  You could download the binary instead of the src.rpm
thereby cutting out the build step.  You could even enter 
the phone number correctly the first time, cutting out one 
more step.  ;-)

  Of course the real point was that Windows makes easy 
things difficult... and every once in a while I just have to 
rejoice in the fact that I don't live in that frustrating 
Windows world.  :-)
