Hi Sam,

Your 'laziness' (as you put it), has caused me to develop this
little 'optional feature'<g>

1) Edit IDXHEAD.HTP (or IDXFAST.HTP if not using tables)...

Add this section just after '<BR>Your eMail'
(you will find it very near the bottom of each file)

<!-- begin 'mark all as old' section -->
<TD WIDTH=20% ALIGN=CENTER><FONT SIZE=3><FORM ACTION="file://markasold.dgi">
<INPUT TYPE=IMAGE SRC="mail02.ikn" BORDER=0">
<BR>Mark all<br>as 'old'
<!-- end 'mark all as old' section -->

Also, be sure to change the other 4 width specs to 20% instead of 25%

2) Edit MAIL.HTM

Add this section just after '<BR>Empty trash'
(also to be found very near the bottom)

<!-- begin 'old mail button' -->
<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=25%>
<FORM ACTION="file://oldmail.dgi">
<INPUT TYPE=IMAGE SRC="mail03.ikn" BORDER=0>
<BR>Old mail<br>still in 'Inbox'
<!-- end 'old mail button' -->

3) Add these 3 lines to MIME.CFG

file/markasold.dgi       |ren $M*.cnm *.old
file/oldmail.dgi     >HTM|[130]$einsight.exe -i $M*.old -cache=$t>$2
file/.old            >HTM|[115]$einsight.exe $1 -cache=$t>$2

That's it 1,2,3 you're done.<g g g>

Now you can hit the "Mark all as 'old'"
button and all CNMs will be renamed as OLDs
(they will no-longer show in your inbox)

Press 'M' and hit the "Old mail still in 'Inbox'" button to see them.

I will now use this new 'feature' to reply to your second message. ;-)

(replying to L:\ARACHNE\MAIL\54499513.OLD)

Hi Sam,

I too am subscribed to the Arachne-Development list.

I'll CC this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] so that all
of us who are subed can see if this 'spurs' some activity. ;-)
