I didn't download any of their software.  I use their service
to send faxes by using only Arachne or by using my Nokia cell
phone.  You don't need any special fax software to send faxes
with their service.  You don't even need a so-called
"faxmodem" and you certainly do not need Windoze.  Their service
should work with any browser or with any email client.  With
their service you can send a fax to any class of fax machine
located in any area code they are networked with.  You can do it
for the same cost as for a local phone call, assuming that your
dialup connection to your ISP is a local phone call.
