You might want to check Mozilla Firebird browser from www.mozilla.org
- it is official for Windows, Linux, and Macintosh.

You can also get the complementary mail client from
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/index.html
Thunderbird is a standalone mail client for Windows, Linux &
Macintosh - still under development.
I use Firebird exclusively (unless some of my company's software only
works on IE).
