Hi Greg, I had a similar event recently. I had an attachment to an e-mail with a Word file named: on line.doc send by a fellow that uses Win XP. Before he installed Win XP the word documents with names like that did have the "space" in the filename replaced by a "_"... the name would then be: on_line.doc Arachne could not handle a name like that. So, I tried to rename the file with Norton Commander. But :-((( It looks like this is not an Arachne problem but a DOS problem. A space seems to be a non valid character in DOS file-names. I asked for the same file with a name without spaces in it => now all was OK. Is this a new M$ trick to get rid of DOS?
