The RS232 tester is a prog in DOS and uses a second computer which logs
all the bits and bytes that are send to or from a RS232 connection
between a modem or any other device.

The logging computer must have two COM-ports, one for logging RX and one
for logging TX. Handshake lines can be monitored too.
The results can be written to disk for further evaluation.

I will zip the files if any of you is interested in this nice little
tool. The monitoring computer can be nearly any (old) computer.

Regards, Bastiaan
