Hi List, To me Glenn showed that M$ changed the protocol for the M$ FTP server and the result is: we can not use Arachne for such a site.
Of course we can say "Well, this is one of Bill's tricks" and leave it to that... and let Bill take over the internet. But why not adapt Arachne (a little?) in order to have Her last longer, forever ;-) If Arachne can send text messages and images to a remote computer why should she not be able to send simple commands? Not the build in commands but any command we like or need to send. Perhaps a text file containing just a simple word like "LIST" or "DELETE" will do the trick... Or a HTML "FORM ACTION= "... Maybe the "DIALER" can be used since it can answer a remote call with ANY password or ANY username. Think of it, there must be a way.
