I was wondering if some of you would be willing to test xpdf 2.02 (old version was 0.91 so something should have changed), and png2bmp 1.54 (0.99 recompiled with newer libraries by me was the old one).
And some links (needed of course):
http://bernie.arachne.cz/apm/xpdf202.apm - 70K http://bernie.arachne.cz/apm/png2bmp.zpm - 315K
Both programs require a 386 and DPMI (an old one is included with Arachne since I made the 32-bit DJPEG). Hmm... perhaps I should make a cwsdpmi.apm as well to let ytou easily update that one? Any thoughts on that?
I've mailed Michael regarding giving me access to main page for adding them among the other apms (which I once had), but for now this is the only way you can access them. Please note that you can NOT install directly without chaning (and now my memory probably fails med) you add my domain name to security.cfg).
And please note that I don't KNOW that these will work, but they should be fine IMHO, but I haven't tested them at all (sadly, like Michael I don't longer use DOS on a daily basis).
As a side note to Glenn or Clarence, have you tried the scrollmouse API that the standard CuteMouse distribution wants? Arachne isn't listed as a program that uses it. IIRC the hack is in mouse.c (which is inline ASM), but I haven't looked at the source since I helped you out almosta year ago. time does fly, doesn't it? Once again, I haven't tested it.
And yes I'm back on the list, but I may be too busy to deal with everything that I want to deal with or discuss. I hope you all understand if I keep a lower profile now then I have before.
