I suggest that the people of Liberia and Sierra Leone would disagree with
your view on anarchy. It hasn't yielded them any benefits.

Absence of government power merely means that individual power is
supreme, allowing bullies to become warlords. Of course, a combined
community response can counter that threat, but then you have ... a
government, of sorts.

Steven Jay Gould, of all people, had some interesting thoughts on
anarchy.
