Hi List,
I made a new partition on my HD and before taking this into
service one has to format it.
The partition is 466Mb and after giving "FORMAT E:"
the computer started by first repairing the clusters.
I never had any computer do this.
If I am rightly informed a cluster is 512 bytes or 0.512Kb
The computer or HD is doing about 6000 clusters/hour so for 466Mb it
will take about 150 hours = 6 days :-( :-(
Does this sound familiar to any one???

Count is now 47,000 cluster in 7:30 hours.
