In ArangoDB, edges are just like vertices with special fields _from and 
_to.  You're free to store additional information if required.  For 
example, if there is an ACCESSES edge with an id of A, You can set the 
timestamp on that edge just like a vertex using AQL: UPDATE {_key: A, 
accessed: <timestamp} IN ACCESSES. You can also do this when creating the 
edge as well.
