tl;dr: looking for existing work and/or ideas for ArangoDB & OpenTelemetry
Integration

> OpenTelemetry [OTel] is an Observability framework and toolkit designed
to create and manage telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs.
Crucially, OpenTelemetry is vendor- and tool-agnostic, meaning that it can
be used with a broad variety of Observability backends, including open
source tools like Jaeger and Prometheus, as well as commercial offerings.
OpenTelemetry is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) project.

It occurs to me that ArangoDB could be used to store, organize, and
retrieve OpenTelemetry data. Might anyone know of existing work in this
direction and/or have ideas on how it could (should?) be implemented?

For example, I could imagine creating a bi-directional gateway between
ArangoDB and OTel. This would collect and index sets of OTel data, making
them available to arbitrary OTel clients.
