tl;dr: looking for existing work and/or ideas for ArangoDB & OpenTelemetry Integration
> OpenTelemetry [OTel] is an Observability framework and toolkit designed to create and manage telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Crucially, OpenTelemetry is vendor- and tool-agnostic, meaning that it can be used with a broad variety of Observability backends, including open source tools like Jaeger and Prometheus, as well as commercial offerings. OpenTelemetry is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) project. -- https://opentelemetry.io/docs/what-is-opentelemetry/ It occurs to me that ArangoDB could be used to store, organize, and retrieve OpenTelemetry data. Might anyone know of existing work in this direction and/or have ideas on how it could (should?) be implemented? For example, I could imagine creating a bi-directional gateway between ArangoDB and OTel. This would collect and index sets of OTel data, making them available to arbitrary OTel clients. -r -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ArangoDB" group.
