It looks as if Darren (to pick on ssh) initiated the discussion with PSARC instead of PSARC-EXT, and so the discussion was not held out on OS.o's opensolaris-arc alias. The request to set up the OS.o aliases to better support the ARC process is stalled waiting for resources from Stephen Hahn's team to continue the design discussions. I'm told that even the simple first steps of letting anyone who is an opensolaris participant post to the arc aliases without getting moderated or auto-deleted won't get addressed until sometime in February. -John
