I was planning so many things on mkinitcpio which I didn't do yet, so here is a quickfix for 2.6.28 usage: 

- Add ext4 detection to filesystem hook
- Rename ide-disk to ide-gd_mod in the ide hook
- Depend on the new klibc 1.5.14-2 so fstype and kinit can detect ext4 properly.
