This version of D-Bus no longer uses -fPIE by default. Distributions
wishing
to harden the dbus-daemon and dbus-launch-helper can re-enable this
if their
toolchain supports it reliably, via something like:
./configure CFLAGS=-fPIE LDFLAGS="-pie -Wl,-z,relro"
