In the lecture video on the Google wave site, they seemed quite keen on the idea of releasing the server code open source, so you will be able to run your own wave server that you can if you choose connect to the main Google servers to syndicate waves with non local people. But all local waves remain local. I was very pleased to hear that. Mike P.S.
