Guys,
Now that I can boot using 2.6.35-2, I am turning attention to another issue -
whitescreen instead of splash on gnome start. After typing in my user:pw and
hitting return, I see a total white screen with the busy cursor until the entire
desktop is loaded - a long 20-30 seconds. Normally I would expect to see the
gnome splash over the default background. Anybody else?
What to check? What to try?
