It should be possible by putting the conflicting files in separate
folders, but that requires changes to the PKGBUILDs and building your
own versions from source.
In case you want to go that route, ask for help on archlinux forum in
the "Creating & Modifying Packages" subboard.
(Very few arch users with experience in writing PKGBUILDS / building
from source participate on the arch-general mailing list.)
