"setxkbmap -option kpdl:comma" doesn't work

Hi,

for my German keyboard, I was able to change the num pad's "," to a "."
by running

            $ setxkbmap -option kpdl:dot
            
but I cannot change the "." back to "," by running

            $ setxkbmap -option kpdl:comma

The man page:

            $ man xkeyboard-config
            [...]  
            Numeric keypad Delete behavior
                   ┌─────────────────────────────────────────────[...]

What am I missing?
