If you're actually saying that AUR helpers should stay away from actual core/community/extra I would tend to agree but I want to caution to amplifying a current issue and perhaps getting into another flame war whilst Arch people are still dealing with cleaning up the mess. After all it is far better to make decisions when emotions have cooled down and the clearl light of day shines upon it.
