Hi, I don't have time right now, but my to-do list now says I should rethink "sudo" in general as soon as I have time. My reckless use of "xhost+" has been on this to-do list for years, but I've never found the time to rethink it. Is that an alternative? https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Systemd/run0 https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Doas I know that a subscriber went to the trouble of setting up "doas", but if I recall correctly, in some cases it doesn't work well with Arch Linux. I find it unacceptable to do away with sudo or a replacement entirely and rely solely on su, for various reasons. Regards, Ralf
