This is counter intuitive. The point is that we don't want to clean
when we have a symlink (as what it points to might have been created
after boot). I guess the result would be the same, but I'd rather keep
it as it is, unless there is a bug report.

OK to me also, as it would only make a difference in exotic/unsupported
configurations AFAIKS.
