big -1 on irssi. if you want to irc, you have networking, and you can `pacman 
-S <whichever client you want>`.

smartmontools.. if you think we have enough space to install these kinds of 
"misc sysadmin" packages, then fine for me.

the others sound like they have a valid reason to be on there.
