With GNOME on my laptop, I can't even start nautilus - it simply crashes, and restarts, and crashes again, restarts, etc...
I haven't had the time to look into this issue, but is there anyone else having the same problem?

For all the testers with us: GNOME 2.10 beta is in testing.
Upgrading from 2.8 shouldn't be a problem, I did it on multiple systems
without issues.
Evolution 2.2 beta will not get packaged until after the final, so
gnome-panel does not have evolution integration (gnome-panel 2.10
requires evolution-dataserver 1.1.x).

Arjan and I have been using gnome 2.9/10 for a week now without
problems, so we considered it stable enough for some testing. The GNOME
2.10 stable release is planned in a few weeks, so having a heavily
tested GNOME is a good thing.
