I haven't had the time to look into this issue, but is there anyone else having the same problem?

Arjan and I have been using gnome 2.9/10 for a week now without problems, so we considered it stable enough for some testing. The GNOME 2.10 stable release is planned in a few weeks, so having a heavily tested GNOME is a good thing.
