whenever i try to compile a kernel by my self, my network stops working. Even if I use the same kernelconfig that is in abs. I even tried using /proc/config.gz from a working (arch)linux-kernel. So yes, if I just use the kernel that comes with archlinux my network works perfectly. syslog tells me something about NETDEV WATCHDOG eth0 transmit timeout. And after using google a bit i seems like acpi is the problem. And that is okey. But why do I not get that error when using the default kernel?
