I am using the last pacman version.
When i used "pacman -A /path/to/glib-1.2.10-4.pkg.tar.gz" , its works ok.
Let's clear the things:
a) I have a local repo.
b) I use the quickinst script.
c) this error only appear when i use the script. A manually installation work fine. So i made a new script, using the doinstall function from the setup script, but got the same error.
d) This error happens only with glib and gtk packages. If i try install only the base system, everything go ok!.
That's it!
Thanks Daniel
What command are you running to get this error message? I'm pretty sure you're using pacman wrong.
