It's about using adjtimex (with pkgbuilds) and ntp (openntpd patched to use
adjtimex method too). It also has links to gentoo forums discussion about
tuning time in 2.6 kernels. 

I hope this is what you want to know (I'm not really an expert about clocks
just wanted to have a good time on my linux boxes :-)
