Well I was replying to someone pointing out the benefits, so I was merely
pointing out the downside as a counter-point. No reason to do both in one
email is there, if the info is already part of the thread ?

But then again I might be wrong about this, in which case it would have
been wrong for me to cut it out. <- Which goes back to my basic point.
Cutting can be arrogant, especially too much cutting.

"Maybe" or "maybe not" is wordplay. Especially if either could be correct.
