Hi Tobias,Hi would you please try the PKGBUILD and rules file from this bugreport and check if now everything works, thanks http://bugs.archlinux.org/index.php?do=details&id=2926 greetings tpowa You're almost there. I've downloaded the lastest files (Thursday, 7 Jul 2005, 12:16pm). The package worked fine, now it honors my rules file's SYMLINKs. But when I've installed it I got the following error: [EMAIL PROTECTED] udev]# pacman -U udev-060-6.pkg.tar.gz loading package data... done. checking for file conflicts... error: the following file conflicts were found: udev: /etc/scsi_id.config: exists in filesystem errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Renaming /etc/scsi_id.config to scsi_id.config.old the package was upgraded and worked well. Both the original file and that used in the package have the same md5 hash (identical files). It seems *backup* line on PKGBUILD is not sufficient to ensure the file will be installed. Of course it's better someone else test it too as I have only a couple of rules in my configuration file (mainly aditional SYMLINKs). Thank you, Armando |
