Yes, it's not the right time, such feature may be interesting to discuss
I may file a feature request to SCIM developers.

SCIM should be triggered if you have configuration in your xinitrc as
follows:
export [EMAIL PROTECTED]
export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
export QT_IM_MODULE=xim
, (which will make SCIM to communicate with GTK2/QT applications through
XIM protocol, such setup is not needed if you want it to only act as a
GTK input module), otherwise SKIM will automatically start up since it
basically a QT/KDE application.

Yes, it has been well tested, but it needs some configuration before it
can be useful. Basically you have to setup your XIM environment like
above, sometimes its configure file under .fcitx/config(mostly the
display font for Chinese) and your locale correctly (in my experience it
can work under utf8 locale, however if anybody runs into trouble, a
zh_CN alike locale will help) , I would like to set up a Wiki page
later, however currently Wiki doesn't support Chinese, I feel a little
strange to set up a page mainly for Chinese user but in English .
BTW, your PKGBUILD in cvs is lack of downloading url.

Anytime.

exactly right.

??=page ??=net is right but they are normally combined as '????'?? which
means web page. When you mean internet, we call it "??????" in Chinese
mainland(means a net connected by each other)?? or "??????" in
Taiwan(means a net connecting to anywhere) . I can't find right words to
'net of pages' unless using a phrase, :-).

Really thanks for your kindly consideration for users with other mother
