Arch KISS, same as always. Find the single simplest way to do it, and
do it that way.
Not always the simplest, I prefer the more intelligent, elegant
solutions to problems. The single, simplest way isn't always the best way.
On a side note: will these new Arch net-init scripts have support for IPv6?
