Use python 2.4 from the ArchLinux Repository. It's downwards compatible. So you can use PIL from the community repository, which runs fine here: I use CMFPhoto(Album). > Now I still have to make those binaries availables on my Arch Linux system > : > >2005-08-21T14:47:02 PROBLEM(100) PortalTransforms Unable to find binary > >"pdftohtml" in /bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin > >------ > Same thing for : "pdftotext", "rtf-converter" and "rtf2xml". pdftotext is part of the xpdf package. pdftohtml is on Sourceforge. It should be easy to make an archlinux package. You normally don't need all of these binaries. They are used by PortalTransforms for on-the-fly Content-Type transformations. For Example: Display PDF content in your site by converting it to text. Jürgen
