You can savely ignore the errors including perl and upgrade with pacman -Syu -f

And iirc, even the udev error is safe to ignore, though i'm not quite sure about that one..

So long,

Hi,

I'm trying to update the packages of my Arch OS with Pacman (pacman
-Syu). After the packages had been downloaded and are ready to be
installed I get a list of strange errors and pacman won't install any
of the packages ... Below is pacman's output:

checking package integrity... done.
loading package data... done.
checking for file conflicts... inodes match:
[snip]
lot's of errors involving perl[/snip]

error: the following file conflicts were found:
  udev: /etc/scsi_id.config: exists in filesystem

errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Can anybody help me solving this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Thijs
