I can't get this to work, iphitus. I have an existing
2.6.12-cko2-swsusp2 kernel that works perfectly, so I compiled
2.6.13-archck2-swsusp with the same config, and I'm running it with the
same hibernate scripts. It starts the suspend sequence, fails, and then
resumes immediately. There's nothing jumping out at me from the logs or
dmesg that might explain it, but there's always the possibility that I
don't know what to look for.
I see you've now included it in archck3, so I'll give that a go as well.
Any ideas would be appreciated in the meantime - if you need any more
details, let me know.
Thanks for the great work. I've become very attached to swsusp2, so I
was reluctant to try archck up to this. I'm sure this little wrinkle can
be worked out.

I decided to give software suspend another chance, and it seems like
it decided to be nice to me. Here's a patch with software suspend 2
included. I've compiled and used it, and it works here.
If nobody has any big problems with this patch, I will include it in
archck3 or 4. Please give it a shot, I have been able to suspend and
resume without problems here, but I would like others to test it.

added some software suspend fixes
Arch Linux Users, there's a copy of the hibernate script's in dibbles
personal repo. The hibernate support works awesomely with fbsplash.
If anyone has any issues with this, drop me a line.
