I don't use testing, so i compiled it against current and extra and gcc3.x. 
And if there's a problem with building against 4.0.1 then why not build it 
against current and put it into current?

Yes, the webmaster seems to be sleeping but when you choose a mirror from 
http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/download.html you'll see 1.0.3 and 1.0.4. I 
grabbed it and there's no a single word that it's a beta or what. It seems 
like normal stable release. I wondered too when i was going to send a 
bugreport and there were two never versions in bugzilla to choose from.
