Just edit your PKGBUILD. My source line looks like
this
source=(ipw2200-fw-2.3.tgz
http://osdn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/$pkgname/$pkgname-$pkgver.tgz
\
http://iphitus.loudas.com/arch/ck/patches/ipw2200-fix.diff)
and in the beginning of the build section apply the
patch. Here's mine for reference
build() {
cd $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver
patch -p1 -i ../ipw2200-fix.diff
make
