For right now, there are some issues. We are not actually slaying all of libtool right now due to some limitations in certain families of packages. More specifically speaking, KDE packages use them for module loading and other tasks, and are just being recompiled so that their *.la files do not reference others that have been slayed, but the KDE package itself still contains these *.la files. Thus, blanketing by using this patch is not feasible, for the time being anyway. -S
