Well.. i've never seen a message thats so poorly formatted it's
unreadable. Yes I have lost them among others though, but that happens
to well formatted ones too.

Logging to pacman's log would be the ideal way to fix this imho. The
CVS for pacman3.0 is up, so I might take a look and see if I can hack
together something simple, if i can motivate myself enough.
