I killed hotplug long ago, I thought it was hanging,
but ?? maybe it was just taking its time. I do not get
any pcmcia message at all when i boot, i am on 2.6.13.
with a Twinhead P14N lappie. Sort of vanilla VIA - P4
mobile. That ioctl message? it could be almost
anything to do with twiddling the control lines or raw
I/O. do you have yenta in your modules list before
pcmcia? If not, give it a try.
