I'm having some problems taming the HAL beast. On my USB memory stick I
have two partitions, they turn up as /dev/sdb{1,2}. I have given them nice
descriptive labels. Under Ubuntu HAL+Gnome-Volume-Manager+pmount would have
the two partitions mounted under /media/<label>.

Now, under Arch I can't seem to get any of the two partitions mounted at
all. Sometimes, not all the times, /dev/sdb is mounted as /media/usbdisk.
That isn't very useful at all.

I created /etc/hal/fdi/policy/local.fdi in hope that it would be loaded
(the same file under Ubuntu was). I can see no evidence it is loaded though
:(

Can anyone offer any pointers to help in configuring HAL+GVM+pmount?

/M
