And I've made a fool of myself after upgrading a package without enough 
testing.  slib 3a2 (currently in AUR) is broken without a patched guile 
(http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-devel/2005-September/013735.html).  
I will downgrade it to my slib 3a1 build, which does work, when I have a 
chance.
