I think that would be a Good Thing(TM) for now--especially since, at
least at present, so many things do expect to find things in /usr/X11R6.  

Like other new things, it'll probably take awhile to straighten
everything out, but I think I forgot to say what a great job you guys
did with this--aside from that difficulty, the upgrade was completely
painless.
