Probably because it's a much awaited release. The LFS folks (who still
haven't understood that they're writing a book and not a dist, and so
are very conservative) even switched to rc6.

Besides, letting .15 directly into current somewhat compensates for the
time -ARCH users had to wait for .14 in their "bleeding edge" distro :)
